Hello Enphase owners, In August 2021, I wrote a topic on the Home Assisant Community forum about a solution I came up with to get my Enphase Envoy working with the Energy Dashboard feature which had just been introduced at the time.. I suspect that Enphase only samples every 5 minutes back to My Enlighten (sometimes with a really long lag too), where as home assistant samples every 1 minute. That being said, the energy dashboard is also 1 - 2 hours behind as well so lag is a problem for both dashboards. At least the home assistant sensors are rapidly recording every minute.

For ‘Solar Production’, the today_s_ENERGY_production sensor is the ONLY enphase sensor that will work with energy dashboard by default without modifying home assistant and creating extra power and energy sensors. This is due to the state_class: total_increasing attribute that ONLY this sensor appears to have.
